Evacuation feedback

Dear Ms Waters

I am sure you will get plenty of parents looking for a reason to complain about the way the school handled events today but I wanted to commend you and your staff for managing the ever changing situation so well.

My daughter did not feel worried by all the ongoing events because she knew she would be kept safe, she felt well informed by yourself and said there was an air of calmness in an extremely stressful situation.

Dear Julia,

We just wanted to take this opportunity as parents, to say thank you to yourself and all the staff who coped so well in such a difficult and challenging situation today. It is no mean feat to calmly evacuate such a large number of pupilsnd to have to 'hold' them for such a considerable ength of time. The girls were reassured and made to feel safe at all times.

It is very reassuring as parents to know your child is in such safe hands.

Dear Lisa

Yet again I'm emailing you to congratulate you on a fantastic event for year 8 on Friday.

It was so good to see such a range of confident, articulate and talented girls across the whole year group and how all the girls were involved in some way. Having not attended the philanthropy event before I was quite surprised by the standard of presentation and the talent. I’m sure the girls will have got so much out of their involvement and to see some of them expose very difficult personal issues to such a large group of peers and adults was incredibly moving.

What a wonderful experience for them as part of their education - which I’m sure they will be able to draw on in their futures.

Well done again

Congratulations, Julia, on the latest editions of “Update” which brings out the vitality and originality and yet genuiness of the school.
Thank God for all you are doing and may He be at your side as you continue to go forward.
I enjoyed every bit of Issue 41. May this next session be a truly blessed term, too.
Love and prayer, Joan osu
