SCIENCE WEEK

As part of science week, 35 students from Year 5 attended the STEM activity from 6 Merton deanery schools.

  • Making rockets in Design technology
  • Burning food in science to look at energy.
  • The theme was how does energy affect us?
  • They also presented on science activities they have been doing this term.

The project continues throughout the year and continue to have sixth form students teaching science at primary schools on a Wednesday afternoon and to offer support to primary colleagues on Specialist teacher knowledge. We hope to have some more science lessons on offer in the summer.

Our weekly KS3 Science club is also run every Tuesday from 3.15-4.00pm, by our expert science technicians. In order to expand our young learners enquiring 'scientific' minds.
