Women of the Future Ambassadors Reception

Lloyds Banking Group, Monday 13th November 2017

We were very pleased to have been invited to take 10 of our Year 12 Economics students to the Women of the Future Ambassadors Reception at Lloyds Banking Group. It was a wonderful morning introduced by Neev Spencer, DJ, Kiss FM, Stephen Shelley, Group Executive Sponsor for Gender and Pinky Lilani CBE, DL, Founder and Chairman, Women of the Future Programme. The morning started off with a great icebreaker - Mingle Bingo where everyone got to meet each other with a mini questionnaire that had to be completed. This was followed by hearing from fabulous speakers Bryony Day, from Arcadis, Sevasti Wong, from Accenture, Maxine Austin, from Lloyds Banking Group and Benedetta Lacey from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. A great Q&A with them and then further introductions and words of wisdom from 4 of Lloyds Banking Group Emerging Talent community finished off a fabulous session before the networking began! This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn about different careers. We thank Women of the Future and Lloyds Banking Group for organising such an inspirational event! #WOF2017 #LBGDiversity #Ibelieve
